It became the nation's largest independent mobile wireless retailer with nearly 300 stores.
on to takethe company public and sold it to Nextel. Following this achievement, he raised millions from Goldman Sachs and co-founded LetsTalk.com, a largeonline cellular shop. Target eventually acquired the company. He has started over 20 companies and helped large telecom and technology companies with restructuring, profitability improvements, mergers and acquisitions, and going public over the past two decades.
Brett is also a prominent leader in his industry, having served as the past chair of the Consumer Technology Association’s Wireless Board and currently participating in both the Wireless and Retail Boards to address key industry challenges. He previously led the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) in Miami, where he built lasting professional relationships and shared strategic insights with fellow business leaders. Brett received recognition as Ernst & Young’s 2017 Florida Entrepreneur of the Year and was awarded a 2018 Gold Stevie Award for Retail Entrepreneur of the Year, along with the “Powerful Influencer” Leadership Award at the 2019 Extraordinary Women Leading Change Conference. His company, T-ROC Global, along with its brands, has been featured on the Inc. 500|5000 and Deloitte Technology Fast 500 lists multiple times. Additionally, heis a member of the Florida Council of 100 and the Retail AI Council.
